Conducting research projects aimed at promoting sustainable development in various fields of Earth sciences, in collaboration with domestic universities and research institutions.

Conducting applied research in various fields of Earth sciences based on national and international needs.

Undertaking research projects required by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade (Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade) in the fields of geology, mineral exploration, mining development, and mineral processing, utilizing all available national capacities, particularly the expertise of academic faculty members across the country.

Providing training for graduates and students, with an emphasis on practical and interdisciplinary education in Earth sciences.

Establishing and developing scientific and research collaborations with reputable national and international working groups, research institutions, and universities.
