Introduction

One of the most important scientific activities of the Institute is the presentation of various articles in reputable Iranian and foreign scientific journals, participation in international conferences, and presentation of articles by students and faculty members of the Institute. The Institute of Earth Sciences, with the aim of expanding and optimizing both the education and research capabilities of students as much as possible, as well as domestic and international scientific exchange, hosts many domestic and foreign professors and researchers throughout the year to deliver scientific lectures on geology at the Institute. Due to this scientific exchange, a number of student theses have been carried out in collaboration with foreign professors as a joint research activity, and the articles resulting from these theses have been published in reputable domestic and foreign scientific journals.
