The First Conference on "The Role of Artificial Intelligence, the Digital Economy, and Knowledge-Based Enterprises in the Development of Kerman Province" Will Be Held

The First Conference on "The Role of Artificial Intelligence, the Digital Economy, and Knowledge-Based Enterprises in the Development of Kerman Province" will be organized by the Supreme Audit Court of Iran and the Kerman Provincial Gas Company. The event is designed to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in governance, industry, and regional development.

The conference will feature two specialized sessions:

1. Transforming Governance in Kerman Province through Artificial Intelligence: Identifying, Analyzing, and Addressing Systemic Challenges

This session will be presented by Dr. Davood Masoudi, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Parliamentary Caucus for Trade and Investment Facilitation and Director of the Smart Governance Think Tank. His presentation will focus on the role of data-driven governance and intelligent technologies in enhancing decision-making and public policy at the provincial level.

2. Geology and Mineral Exploration in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Leveraging Innovation for Greater Accuracy and Efficiency

In this session, Dr. Hamid Nazari, Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair on Coastal Geohazards and CEO of Housh Zamin Kansar Company, will discuss the applications of artificial intelligence in geological data analysis, mineral resource exploration, and geohazard management.

The conference will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Major General Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani Conference Hall, Provincial Office of the Supreme Audit Court, Imam Reza Boulevard, Kerman.

The participation of leading scientific and research institutions—including the UNESCO Chair, the Research Institute of Earth Sciences, and other specialized organizations—highlights the event's scientific and interdisciplinary approach to integrating emerging technologies with regional development.
