My research has focused on the Quaternary volcanoes and young magmatism by studying on their petrology, geochemistry of volcanic centers, and their hazards in Iran for over 30 years. I also study aspects of the geodynamic system of these rocks by researching aspects of the young volcanoes of the Iranian plateau and hazardous volcanic phenomena and associated risks.
